Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster, Penn., "916", 12 size, 17 jewels, stem wind and set, damascened nickel plate movement with lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, gold timing screws and whiplash micrometric regulator in a 14 karat, yellow gold, hinged back and snap bezel, engraved open face case with maker's details engraved on gold cuvette and Arabic numeral, single sunk metal dial, blued steel hands, serial #3102877, 63.6g TW, c1925.
CONDITION:
CASE: Shallow dents, back; Shallow dent, cuvette; Minor scratches; Pin pricks; Minor scratches and a few pin pricks, inside of case back; Bow loose; Crown with minor wear; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Spotting and discoloration, particularly at edge. HANDS: Oxidation. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches on plate; Crown wheel with a few spots of oxide; Ratchet wheel, click and regulator spring with specks of oxide; Specks of dirt / dust. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Not running, good staff, needs service.
